How do I book a party?

Do you host Toddler Parties?

To host a party for a toddler younger than 5, please get in touch with a member of our team to discuss your requirements. Please email events@freedomadventurepark.co.za to discuss options

 

When must numbers be confirmed by?

Party numbers must be confirmed when booking party online. If you wish to increase party numbers please let us know 72 hours before your party booked (Add booking ID/time/date to email). While we always attempt to accommodate, it may not always be possible as we restrict numbers for safety purposes & an enhanced customer experience. If you cancel within 7 days, your refund will be subject to a late cancellation charge of 80% of the party total booking cost (If you book & paid within the 7 day period & you then would like to cancel the booking. A late cancellation charge of 60% of the booking will the deducted from total party payment cost).

 

Is there a minimum number for parties?

5 pax for a party at Freedom Tokai & 10 pax for a party at Freedom Canal Walk. We can cater for parties of 100+ if required, please email events@freedomadventurepark.co.za for more information

 

Can I host a Birthday Party without booking a party package?

No unhosted parties are permitted. No outside décor, cake or party packs or Ballons are allowed, No outside décor or party items is permitted into the park as we offer this as an in-house specific service.

 

Can I bring in my own cake?

Only once a party booking has been made & secured, you are welcome to bring in your own cake; it carries a “cakage" fee of R250 per cake & must be arranged through our events team, please email events@freedomadventurepark.co.za

 

What cakes do you have on offer & what is the pricing?

Our cakes start at +/- R950 per cake, pending the size of the cake. We encourage clients to send us a picture of what they would like so that we can quote accordingly. Visit our Pinterest Page for more details

Can we bring in Party packs?

No outside décor or party items is permitted into the park

 

Does an under 2 year old pay the package price?

Should the little one form part of the party they will be included in the party package pricing selected

 

What does FREEDOM offer if I would like to offer catering for adults?

We have a fully equipped restaurant & also offer platter menu that is available upon booking

 

Can I bring my own décor?

Unfortunately not, as all décor & catering is handled by our in-house events team. On exclusive bookings we do allow a limited amount of outside décor subject to our events team approval, as we can make, design & create 99% of all items/products for any party or theme

 

What is in the party box?

The party box is filled with age appropriate chips & sweets. No savoury items are included. Healthy options are available when booking your party

 

Does the birthday child pay the package price?

Yes the birthday child does form part of party pricing. The birthday child does receive a special gift from Freedom on the event of his/her birthday

Do you offer exclusive events, school bookings & private hosting?

Yes we do offer exclusive bookings, team building  & private hosting, please email events@freedomadventurepark.co.za for more information & pricing options. (We offer school groups at a discounted rate)

 

Do parents need to stay at the party?

The birthday parents and/or legal guardian/s are required to stay at the party & we request one adult per five children. (If you have 15 children we expect the total of 3 adults to be present at all times). Most importantly please note that the hosting party parent(s) are responsible for the well-being of the children attending the party until they have been collected by their own parent(s) / guardian(s). Parents must be present when refreshments & the party food is being served

 

Are siblings allowed to play in the park if they don’t form part of the party booking?

If the party mom/dad does not include the siblings in the party package, then the standard play park entry prices & booking system will apply (space subject to availability) & party mom or dad must make an online booking for the extra sibling

 

Do you assist with the party?

You will be assisted by our team to ensure that your special events runs smoothly on the day

 

When is final payment due?

Canal Walk - Online party bookings, payment is processed immediately. Party package can be amended or refunded up to 7 days before the actual party. For fully themed parties, events & team building we accept credit & debit card but please note that we do NOT accept payment by cheque.

What is your cancellation policy for birthday parties?

Parties can be amended or cancelled anytime up to 7 days before the scheduled event without charge, subject to no customised items made, items will be charged for accordingly. If you cancel within 7 days, your refund will be subject to a late cancellation charge of 60% of the party total booking cost (If you book & paid within the 7 day period & you then would like to cancel the booking. A late cancellation charge of 80% of the booking will the deducted from total party payment cost).

GENERAL FAQ'S

 

How old do you have to be explore the Park?

FREEDOM KIDS TOKAI offers activities for ages 1-12 years old. & FREEDOM CANAL WALK offers activities for ages 1-100 years old

 

Is there a weight limit?

All participants must be reasonably fit, healthy & weight restrictions (125kg) for each activity

 

Do I need to book in advance?

Booking online is strongly recommended. Walk-ins are always welcome & typically we are able to accommodate you in off peak times. However, on weekends, school holidays & public holidays we do sell out. You can pre-book & pay for your slot by booking online at www.freedomadventurepark.co.za

 

Is my booking refundable or transferable?

Customers wishing to cancel their session after making a credit card payment online should give us at least 72 hours written notice via email to hello@freedomadventurepark.co.za for full refund, however you can move a booking up to 3 hours before your booked session (change date & time). Customers wishing to cancel their booking less than 72 hours before their booking will not receive a refund or credit note. No refunds or compensation will be payable by Freedom Adventure Park in the event that any participant is not permitted to, refused permission or decides not to, undertake or complete the activities

 

When do I need to arrive?

Please ensure you arrive up to 10 minutes ahead of your pre-booked time slot on off peak times & 20min ahead of your pre-booked slot on peak times

 

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes such as shorts, tracksuits, & t-shirts. No sharp objects such as belt buckles or clothing studs are allowed. No gum allowed

 

What happens if I'm late?

Our team will endeavour to ensure that you & your group's participation commences at the time booked. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that they arrive according to the prescribed arrival times.

If we are busy then you will only be able to use the remaining time of your booked time slot. During quieter periods we will endeavour to accommodate you as close to your preferred time as possible.

Very late arrivals may not be permitted to undertake the activities & no refunds or compensation will be payable in such circumstances. (T&C's apply)

 

Can I bring food from outside?

No, We have a fully equipped in –house pizzeria available to keep your hunger at bay. No outside food or drinks allowed whatsoever. T&C's apply

 

What other events are held at FREEDOM ADVENTURE PARK?

We offer fully customised birthday parties, private parties, exclusive bookings, family focused corporate events, Bar-mitzvahs, team building, hosting of NPO's, hosting of church groups, after school club activities, themed events & glow in the dark evenings

Is FREEDOM safe?

We have trained staff, extensive safety rules & all park equipment is designed for safety. Follow our safety rules & the chances of injury are minimal. Flips & Tricks can only take place if there is no other people around you & its safe to do so. No more then 2 flips after each other, no gainers into pits. Freedom Adventure Parks is Right of admission reserved. A legal guardian must be present at all times keeping an eye on his/her child

 

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes, Wi-Fi is free for all. Be sure to check-in & share your photos & videos using #FREEDOMADVENTUREPARK

 

Do you have parking?

There is large amount of safe, secure parking bays in & around the Shopping Centre

 

When is your peak time?

Our peak times start at 14:00 on Fridays & run until 19:00 on Sundays. All day during School & Public Holidays are considered peak times as well

 

Can my children come & explore the park without a parent or guardian?

Off Peak Drop & Go (Over 6 & Under 16 years old only). Children under the age of 6 years old require a legal guardian to be in the park at all times. Toddlers require a legal guardian to accompany them at all times within the park and/or on any activity within the park. Leaving your toddler in the care of any 3rd party or any Freedom Adventure park monitor is solely at the legal guardians risk & no liability claims will arise should something happen with your toddler whist in the care of 3rd party or any Freedom Adventure park monitor

 

I don't want to explore the park, is there somewhere I can wait for my children?

Good news! If you plan on coming down but don't want to take part, we have Bootlegger coffee, pizzeria & amazing waffles to name a few. Don’t forget to make use of our FREE WIFI. Whilst you relax & read your book or scroll though your social media

 

Do you have wheelchair access?

There is wheelchair access to the building. For more information, feel free to contact FREEDOM via phone or email

 

When is the last admission?

The last session will begin the hour before our listed closing time

 

When is the first open session in the day?

The first session is from our listed opening time. Please look online to see availability for each hour. We strongly suggest that you book online to guarantee you being able to secure your spot

Can I reuse Freedom/any brand of Non-Slip Socks?

Yes! Bring back any brand of trampoline non-slip socks to reuse on your next visit Freedom as long as the socks are in good/clean condition we will allow you to reuse the socks. T's & C's Apply. At Freedom Tokai we allow any type & brand of normal socks, even normal socks are allowed at Freedom Tokai

 

Do you have specific attractions or times for people with disabilities?

While some of our attractions are adaptable for special needs, we also host Sensory Hours throughout the week at our Canal Walk branch. What attractions/programs might be fun for my teenager?

Freedom Tokai is designed for 0-12 years old only.

Freedom Canal Walk is designed for 0-100 years old & offers a variety of games & attractions that are great for our older audience, from 8m high slides, ninja obstacle course, Extreme Via-Ferrata Wall Mount Obstacle Course & Zip Line , 4v4 Street Futsal, Berg Pedal Karts, Netball/Basketball, Airbag, Fidget Ladder, 8m high Drop Slides,22m long Race Slides, Beat the bar - hang challenge, Trampolines, UV Cosmic Glow Club events & more.
